Busy day for Kelvin! After hopping off the boat and either before or after palying back at the Electrik’s Bar, he’s popping in to Folk in Didsbury to play balearic loveliness with partner-in-beards the very wonderful Balearic Mike.

The Acid Tree returns to Folk for a special all-day birthday bash on Bank Holiday Sunday, May 2nd…We’ve had some great parties over the past 12 months, featuring some amazing guest DJ’s, and this Summer special promises to be no exception.

We hope you can join us on the terrace for food, drinks, great music and hopefully sunshine…

KELVIN ANDREWS

In a career spanning more than 25 years, Kelvin has played as a guest DJ from Buenos Aires to Tokyo and rocked iconic UK clubs like Golden, The Bomb, Back To Basics, Slam, Heavenly Social, Fabric and more recently Lowlife and the Electric Chair.These days Kelvin runs the cult Creative Use label and gets paid to make popstars sound cool.

BALEARIC MIKE

After nearly 20 years behind the counter at Vinyl Exchange, Mike’s collection is deeper than most! Local hero, Mike, runs the Night Music parties at Charango as well as the ace Estrellas night at Folk, both with his musical partner, Jan Hammered. Look out for the next release on his Fascinating Rhythms label due out soon…

GRAEME FISHER

Graeme is resident DJ alongside acid tree favourite, Steve Lee from The Project Club, at Balearica in that London. He has impeccable Balearic credentials having played alongside Jose Padilla at the Cafe del Mar when it was good and also played records at Ku. Graeme will be making his first appearance at Folk for this party.
